You'll work closely with a team of 25 developers, with background from UX, backend, frontend, and tooling. Together, you'll apply your creative and analytical skills to craft intuitive cybersecurity solutions for Norway's leading security company.

mnemonic helps customers across Europe and globally to protect their businesses against increasingly advanced security threats. You can help us design and improve the usability of our proprietary customer-facing platform, Argus. Argus encompasses a wide range of security services and is used daily by our customers and our security analysts. We're continuously adding new innovative solutions and improving its core features.

How we will be working together

You'll be part of a 'squad' made up of frontend, backend, and UX resources. Each squad has a product owner and focuses on specific areas of Argus. We work 10 days focused on one need, followed by 10 days of everything else (minor features, follow up, planning, maintenance, training, etc.) We prioritise high-quality work through design reviews and well-planned tasks. Additionally, we have dedicated days for personal development and continuous learning within the UX team

We operate with a flat organisational structure with minimal bureaucracy when it comes to decisions. No matter how long you've been here, your opinions and suggestions are always valued and taken into consideration. As a UX designer in mnemonic your daily work will consist of:

• Planning and defining small and large projects within UX design.
• Testing and monitoring the usability of new and existing user interfaces and functionalities.
• Collecting and analyzing data on user flows and tasks to understand users' needs, challenges, and desires.
• Designing solutions based on collected data and testing.
• Effectively communicating with product owners, TAMs, marketing, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborating with developers on functionality and design.
• Creating and maintaining content in Hera, our design system.

What you will bring

We are looking for someone that is:

• Equipped with in-depth UX knowledge and can create intuitive and user-friendly solutions.
• Capable of mentoring and supporting fellow UX Designers.
• Proactive in identifying tasks and are driving UX initiatives within your team.
• Bringing over 3 years of experience working with UX design and / or UX research in digital solutions.
• Holding a higher education in interaction design or other related fields
• Proficient in both Norwegian and English.
• Skilled in both independent and collaborative work, with strong collaboration and communication abilities.
