About the role


Our sales team in DNV Business Assurance Norway at Høvik is looking for a proactive, service minded and customer-driven team player.

Tasks:

Your main task will be sales, customer care and key account management within Management System Certification services, and related in-house training courses. Our services are for the most part linked to certifications according to various ISO standards. You will be responsible for your own sales budget, with the aim to create growth through existing and new clients. You will also be responsible for re-negotiation of existing contracts and also proactively work towards developing our existing customers, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

In the role of Sales Executive you are asked to proactively increase the sales pipeline within defined industry sectors.

Depending on qualifications, abilities and profile the candidate might be asked to take on responsibility for managing our sales and marketing efforts withing one of our key industry sectors. This may include setting up a sales plan and aligning it with the marketing communications team, running webinars, customer events, etc. In time the candidate will be the team knowledge hub for the specific industry and relevant ISO standards.

In addition, the position also includes a certain amount of "inhouse sales" related activities including processing of quotes supporting our existing customers in their certification journey. Our ambition is to provide you the right environment to develop your skills.

Core tasks include:

• Customer care, sales and customer communication

• Follow up on incoming leads from marketing campaigns, website etc.

• Build pipeline and close sales within different customer segments

• Renewal and updates of contracts up-selling of additional services

• Keeping our CRM system up-to-date

• Responsible for personal target as well as team target

• Act as Key Account manager for a selection of our large customers

About you


The right candidate has the good balance between a commercial mindset and a customer-focused approach on one side, and a good understanding of complex business environments (systems and processes) on the other side.


We are looking for either a proven track record in a similar role within sales and/or customer service, or other background with experience from business development or technical sales.

The right candidate is genuinely customer focused. With a strong personal drive, the ability to focus on details as well as the ability to see the bigger picture. You will be working independently and in teams with the other sales executives in the department. You need to be a good relationship builder, and to have skills both in targeting new customers and to develop existing customers.

The candidate needs to be structured, with ability to present complex topics with credibility to customers.

Our services, processes and systems require a high level of details, and the candidate needs to be able to manage this effectively. The use of multiple tools and systems is required, as such the candidate needs to be a fast learner.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

• 3-7 years of relevant experience with B2B sales and customer service

• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Understanding of, and/or knowledge about, ISO standards, Management Systems for Quality, Environment, HSE/Safety, Information Security, Food Safety, Sustainable Seafood/Fish Farming, and the industries where this is relevant, would be preferable.

Mastering the Norwegian language fluently, both in speaking and writing, is an absolute must when working with Norwegian customers. Your primary work place will be Høvik outside Oslo.
