Engineer - Lifting and Marine Operations

For our Stavanger office, Ugland Construction AS (UC), we are looking for:

Engineer - Lifting and Marine Operations

Main duties and responsibilities

• Engineering, procurement and follow-up of subcontractors
• Prepare and review procedures and method statements for heavy lift vessel and barge operations
• Planning and support for ballast, mooring and loadout operations for barge projects
• Coordination of marine operations
• Assist in tendering and commercial work
• Represent UC and support projects on-site and on vessels
• Provide professional advice and support for marine operation
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers
• Represent the company on-site during on/off-hire surveys and suitability surveys

Domestic and international travelling must be expected.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Relevant work experience with particular focus on marine transport, load-out and heavy lift operations
• Mechanical/Structural Engineer or Naval Architect, alternatively Marine Master or Chief Engineer
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, CAD software
• Comfortable using and learning new digital tools

Specific job training will be given.
