Our Power Solutions business segment offers a comprehensive range of power systems and products, spanning from low to high voltage. Our portfolio includes subsea substations, complete hydropower electro-mechanical packages, advanced control systems, and cutting-edge condition monitoring solutions for all renewable energy markets. We develop innovative hydropower solutions, both internally and through strategic partnerships. As part of our service offerings, we provide mid to large-scale manufacturing services, supported by expert engineering—from research and development to the delivery of well-defined products.

Within our Supply Chain Department in Power Solutions, we are currently seeking Senior Technical Buyers. In this role, you will take full ownership of processes—from tender evaluation to final delivery—while also shaping our future strategies and fostering supplier development. Your day-to-day work will involve close collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring seamless cross-functional engagement within our segment. To succeed in this role, you need to be self going, proactive and enjoy taking on responsibilities. 

Our ultimate goal is to establish a top-tier Supply Chain department that not only meets but exceeds our customers’ expectations.
 

What will you be doing? 

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans for the electromechanical scope of the projects
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors based on their technical capabilities, quality, reliability, and competitiveness
  • Negotiate contracts, prices, terms, and conditions with the selected suppliers and vendors
  • Place orders and monitor the delivery of the electromechanical components and systems
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the alignment of the procurement activities with the project objectives and timelines
  • Manage and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the procurement process
  • Perform quality checks on the electromechanical products and systems
  • Prepare and maintain procurement documents, reports, and records
  • Stay updated on the market trends, best practices, and innovative technologies in the electromechanical industry
  • Provide guidance and support to Supply Chain colleagues on procurement best practices 


We think you should have: 

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in technical procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management2
  • Experience from subsea, oil & gas or hydropower industries is preferred
  • Strong technical understanding, experience from electromechanical products, systems, and standards is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to be proactive, take responsibility to find solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP or other similar ERP system
  • Ability to work independently, build networks and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexibility and ability to travel domestically and internationally if needed
