We are now looking for a Financial Controller to join our Finance team.

Reporting to the VP Finance, you will work closely with the organization and have a core role in managing the company’s finance and accounting operations. The Financial Controller will support the departments in follow-up costs with respect to the budget/forecast as well as being responsible for monthly closing tasks, assist with audit, financial reporting and working on ad hoc projects related to strengthening our processes and supporting the management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure financial performance aligns with expectations
• Control, forecast, and report costs to management
• Monthly closing tasks and financial reporting
• Contribute during audit and on writing the Annual Report
• Support in new and existing projects including development of routines, processes, etc.
• Other ad hoc tasks and projects within the finance team
• Sparring partner for the entire organization

Qualifications

• Higher education in a relevant field, e.g., Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Relevant experience within accounting or audit (3-4 years)
• Structured and detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Practical and hands-on approach to tasks
• Proactive with the ability to take own initiatives
• Self-driven with positive attitude and good cooperative skills
• Interest in IT systems
