Join Our Team as a Business Manager – Decarbonisation Solutions in Stavanger!

Duties and responsibilities

Moreld Apply have a strategic ambition to be a key player in the early phase and sustainable technology market. We're looking for a dynamic and solution-driven individual to join us in making a tangible impact. As the Business Manager for Decarbonisation Solutions, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovation and fostering positive change so we are looking for someone who is willing to “roll up their sleeves” .

Your role will be important in developing, selling, and executing engineering studies within the decarbonisation segment, both offshore and onshore.

Building and maintaining strong client relationships will be key, as you strive for excellence in project delivery and communication.

Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in fostering a positive and quality-focused work environment, mentoring team members, and actively seeking opportunities for improvement and growth.

• Develop and execute strategy for the Decarbonisation Solutions area in collaboration with the VP for Front End & Green Solutions.
• Win and execute studies/projects under the Decarbonisation Solutions business stream
• Meet the financial targets for the business area and business stream.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and establish best practices from studies/projects performed.
• Drive business development in offshore and onshore front-end engineering and take active part in developing proposals and securing deals.
• Follow up existing and assess new suitable subcontractors for early phase engineering.
• Assess established technologies to enhance and provide a wider integrated offering.
• Lead, manage, and oversee all work within decarbonisation studies/projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Moreld Apply's multidisciplinary team and contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
• Lead a team while championing personnel development and contribute to building a strong and united organisation.

Qualifications

• Master / bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Process degree preferred).
• Demonstrate good knowledge and experience from Early Phase Engineering, risk, cost and schedule.
• Knowledge from the maintenance and modification industry and familiar with project execution methods and culture.
• Updated knowledge about relevant guidelines and standards.
• Able to manage projects/studies (technically and commercially) including schedule, budget and QA.
• Write and check technical reports and specifications. Join us in driving the future of sustainable technology.

• Comfortable working in a continuously changing environment - ability to work independently.
