Lead Software Developer

We are looking for a Lead Software Developer to join the Test and Automation team in the Manufacturing Technology department at Kongsberg Discovery. The team is responsible for designing and developing robust software and of testing a wide range of acoustic transducers.

In this role, you will be setting the general software strategy for quality assurance and determine all technical needs of software projects including database design. You will also be in charge of approving final products before release. The company uses Azure DevOps as framework, it is expected that you will develop within that framework.

Responsibilities

• Write and test code on demand mainly in Python/C#.
• Perform quality assurance tests.
• Develop software strategy and mentor other engineers.
• Track project development process.
• Be responsible for database architecture.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar.
• 10 years of experience in similar position.
• Advanced Python/C# programming skills.
• Experience with SQL/Mongo DB or similar.
