Our Data Management team is responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of data used in Orkla's business processes and reporting. We work with technologies such as SAP PLM, SAP MDG, SAP BODS og SAP Information Steward to achieve better control and management of data, improved data quality for product and master data, and valuable insights into Orkla's external sales value chain. Our team is part of the Big Data & Analytics unit, where we work together to achieve customer satisfaction and valuable technological solutions. We are seeking a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) consultant to assist with the implementation, maintenance, and further development of our PLM solution. This central role requires an understanding of the industry (food and non-food process industries) and a focus on developing solutions that work well for end-users. It is also important to understand the role of PLM in a complete solution, including interfaces and interaction with customers and partners.

Your responsibilities as a PLM consultant

In our agile organizational model, teams have end-to-end responsibility within their area. As a PLM consultant, you will improve advisory services to R&D and optimize product functionality and utilization. You will implement PLM solutions in Orkla companies, drive continuous improvements of PLM processes and systems, follow up and resolve incidents, changes and service requests related to SAP PLM, and handle new requirements and changes in the PLM system. You will participate in and lead User Acceptance Tests (UAT), conduct demos and training sessions, capture requirements, and develop test strategies. You will also collaborate with other units and teams to ensure effective use of solutions and provide guidance to colleagues in the use of the system. Good collaboration and communication skills are also necessary to ensure good interaction with our clients and customers.

Are you the one we're looking for?

We are seeking a trustworthy and inspiring team member who is independent, but also thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to finding good solutions using your analytical capabilities. You should have good competence and knowledge of PLM and all objects managed within PLM: specification, recipes, label-set, documents and various possibilities of more automatic reporting (WWI, Analytic reports). Previous experience with S4 Hana PLM-processes and tools is necessary, with a minimum of 5 years of practice within PLM area. You should have a good understanding of how data flows, how various interfaces work and understand review and approval processes managed within PLM.
