ABB's Motion business is the largest supplier of drives and motors, globally. We provide customers with the complete range of electrical motors, generators, drives and services, as well as integrated digital powertrain solutions. We serve a wide range of automation applications in transportation, infrastructure and the discrete and process industries.

Your responsibilities

• Motion Service (MOSE) provides service on electrical motors and generators worldwide. In this job you will be able to travel both in country and abroad and work independent on site and within teams. We perform preventive maintenance, fault tracing, repairs and commissioning both onshore and offshore.
• In addition to mechanical maintenance we also provide life cycle analysis of the machines, electrical measurements to determine the condition of the equipment, and remote monitoring of electrical machines.
• This helps us to be able to support the customer with predictive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime of the equipment and reduce the carbon footprint as we can assist our customers remotely.

Your background

• Bachelor / Technical College, complete with a relevant certificate of apprenticeship or work. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of bachelor/technical college.
• Must be fluent in both written and verbal English and Norwegian, where Norwegian is a demand.
• Technical interest and understanding.
• Ability to perform under pressure and short deadlines.
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience in field service on electrical machines will be considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
