Renewables Engineering in Haugesund is looking to strengthen the team with a new Senior/Principal Process Engineer. You will be part of process engineering in large projects and hold the position as discipline engineer or discipline lead. As an engineer in Aibel you will work in a multidiscipline environment, participating in studies, bids and FEED and/or detail engineering projects. About the position

As part of Aibel’s team, you’ll define and design utility systems and equipment for HVDC and HVAC platforms. You are tasked with executing evaluations, simulations, and calculations, and generating pertinent documentation to support your design and align with the project timeline.

Responsibilities and tasks include

  • Produce UFDs and P&IDs
  • Produce datasheets for equipment
  • Produce system descriptions and manuals
  • Perform process simulations

Qualifications

  • Master's or bachelor's degree within process
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with process engineering
  • Experience with dynamic process simulations and transient evaluations
  • Experience with O&G projects on the Norwegian continental shelf or in the Offshore Wind sector is advantageous
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, Norwegian skills is an advantage
