We have an active collaboration with Norway’s largest Electronic Health Record (EHR) service provider for hospitals, DIPS AS, and we have brought on Kernel AS as our long term strategic investor. We are now looking for a Data Scientist to join our data science team to expand our products and work tightly with the development team and our customers. We are growing at a fast pace, which enables tailoring the kind of role that aligns with your career goals.

Key responsibilities as our new Data Scientist

• Extract, process, validate and analyze data originating from multiple systems and hospitals.
• Build, train and maintain machine learning algorithms and statistical models for our products within the healthcare sector, ensuring our technology meets the high standards required for patient data protection and privacy.
• Actively work alongside our team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers to elevate the technical capabilities of our team, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.

• Caring for privacy and security and have a good understanding of these
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team alongside UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers.
• Able to communicate complex results in a clear and concise manner to both a technical and non-technical audience
• Demonstrated proficiency in Python, including most common packages like numpy and pandas
• Acknowledging the importance of code quality and seeing how testing and code review can help achieve this
• Experience with visualization tools such as Plotly/Dash (preferred), matplotlib, ggplot
• Good understanding of applied statistics, including regression, classification, distributions, time series forecasting, outlier detection
• Good knowledge of machine learning algorithms, including gradient boosting algorithms, neural networks, clustering algorithms
• Experience with natural language processing and large language models is a bonus
• Hands-on experience with API development and consumption is a bonus
• Experience with infrastructure technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a bonus
• Fluency in Norwegian is required
