Who you are?

You are a self-driven person with a structured way of working and a drive for reaching results within sales. Is motivated by building and maintaining customer relationships through interactions, mainly by use of digital tools. Finding and growing new customers are of high important to you. You are a strong networker and influencer having the ability to create, develop and maintain strong customer relations also on a distance. You have a strong commercial focus and have an interest in technical solutions.

About the job

As an Inside Sales Engineer you will be working mainly with Separation Equipment focusing on customers within the Food & Water markets. You will be part of a Nordic sales team dedicated to selling Separation equipment. You will be in close cooperation with the Market Area Manager and the sales team as well as other entities in the company, including back-end technical support.

Key Tasks

With your ability to understand the customers and their specific needs, the main tasks in the job are:

  • Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Products and services.
  • Develop technical quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up.
  • Provide direct support to customers during the quotation process by utilizing the advanced technical support available internally (including sizing & selection of solutions)
  • Communicate technical knowledge and key advantages effectively.
  • Actively use digital tools (CRM, etc.) to analyze and understand market insights to plan and execute the sales plan.

What you know

You probably have a degree in engineering or maybe you are graduating soon. Most importantly is your ability to build relationships internally and externally, and your eagerness to reach targets. Knowledge from Food & Water industries and/or technical sales is highly valued. You should be fluent in Norwegian and English.
