As a Technical Advisor in NOV, you will play a crucial role in delivering 24/7 equipment support to our valued customers around the world. You will be a vital part of our global support organization collaborating with a team of Technical Advisors (TA) and Subject Matter Experts (SME). 

This is an office-based position with regular working hours in our remote support center either in Stavanger or Kristiansand

 Opportunity for travel, including offshore. 

Typical tasks include:

• Technical support within the NOV product family to a global customer base.
• Coordinate with other internal and external specialists to support complex issues.
• Prepare assessment reports and recommended corrective action.
• Perform product notification (PN) and support PN planning and implementation.  
• Perform software implementation and I&C remotely.

Ideally, you are knowledgeable on Siemens PLCs and field instrumentation with a working knowledge in SCADA Systems and networks. We operate with industry-standard tools and technologies, focusing on machine control and automation systems. You will also have:

• Proficiency in drilling and automation systems.
• Experience with installation and commissioning of control systems.
• Possess strong customer service skills.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.
• Ability to work independently and take lead on individual cases.
