Specialist Engineer (Tender)

How you make impact

As a Specialist Engineer (Tender), you’ll be at the forefront of our mission. You’ll develop innovative technical solutions for the installation and protection aspects of our turnkey cable supply tenders. This role is dynamic, requiring collaboration with various departments to achieve success.

Day - to - day activities

• Study client specifications and schedules to define the scope of work for tenders.
• Propose cutting-edge solutions for cable installation and protection.
• Prepare quotations to subcontractors, evaluating their quotes.
• Calculate costs and assess project risks.
• Develop schedules for cable installation and protection.
• Participate in site visits, meetings, and negotiations.
• Ensure smooth handover to the Project organization.
• Manage effective communication with clients.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing within the department.

Your starting points

• Master’s degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Marine, Energy Management or relevant
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Norwegian.
• Experience with engineering and site work related to power cable, umbilical, or pipeline installation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and timely performance.
