BI Specialist

We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven BI Specialist who will have a key role in developing and shaping the information reporting within the Zenitel group. The goal is to support all stakeholders with relevant information, insight, and real time data, using different data sources, mainly Zenitel's new ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365. The position is placed within the Global finance team, reporting to the CFO. Place of work is either Horten, Oslo or Lewes (UK). 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• BI Tool Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence tools and dashboards to meet the evolving needs of internal stakeholders.
• Be a strong resource in terms of working with visualization tools, particularly PowerBI
• Collaboration / Quality Assurance:
• Cross functional collaboration with departments/teams/entities ensuring to build solutions that give the “right” data for achieving business objectives
• Close collaboration with IT team / database provider
• Team-work with ESG reporting responsible, Data Governance Manager, ERP Manager, Group/Business Unit Controllers to achieve automated, structured reporting with high data quality
• Data modelling:
• Create data models that are transparent, flexible and easy to maintain
• Support the organization`s analytical needs, e.g. in implementing AI in certain areas
• Training:
• Provide technical support and training to end-users together with IT department
• Act as a subject matter expert, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical users/teams

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in finance/ data science/ computer science
• Experience from a similar role
• Proficiency of programming languages such as MySQL, Python, R is an advantage
• Experience from Microsoft Fabric, ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics / SAP / Oracle is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in the use of technology
• Business language English on professional level
