We are now looking for a Consultancy Advisor to join our ambitious team in Stavanger.

Thomas:

Our General Manager. He likes cars, winding people up (not in the bad way), Liverpool, landing a good deal, and telling the same stories again and again... and again! Thomas has an impressive network and over a decade in the industry and sits on a wealth of knowledge he’s more than willing to share.

Solveig:

Our Senior Business Advisor and “Jack (Lucy?) of all trades”. Whatever the problem or question is, she will find a way to help – or a solution. She trains Crossfit (please don’t judge her) and has several saved searches on Finn.no for interior-things she wants. We can always trust Solveig to keep track of everything happening in the business.

Jodie:

A Senior Consultancy Advisor and our international alibi. Jodie is from Scotland and always brings back sweets we get to enjoy after being home. She also has an impressive collection of weird pens! Other than that, she works out and complains about being sore – at least she’s more consistent at work! Jodie is a hard worker and combines tasks for both the business in Norway and the UK office.

Kim:

Our trusted go-to Consultancy Advisor. A natural talent, humble as you get, has an impressive track record in the industry, and is also responsible for writing this advert – so there’s that. Bodø/Glimt & Arsenal sums it up: he’s a man who makes good decisions and has a great understanding of what quality is.

The team consists of five more members, but I’m afraid to run out of time and creativity. We share our offices with more outstanding individuals across ABL Group companies.

Now back to the job we want you to apply for, as I guess that’s why you’re here in the first place.

As a Consultancy Advisor, you will work with external clients as well as internal clients within the AGR global organization. You are a person who enjoys creating new client and candidate connections and have a proven track record within the recruitment business, preferably within Engineering or multi-discipline field. Good Norwegian and English skills are also a prerequisite for this role.

Our team aims to be the preferred global provider of recruitment and technical consultancy solutions to the energy industry. We have framework agreements with the largest operators on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and experience an increased demand for our services.

Location for this role is Stavanger but Oslo can be considered.

Main Responsibilities

• Source and match client prospects with consultants
• Manage and develop new and existing client relationships
• Negotiate and provide current market information on day rates, tax issues, clients, industry developments etc.
• Maintain personnel and client files
• Manage subcontractors
• Contribute to tender processes
• Support other AGR departments on internal recruitment

Qualifications

• Higher education is preferred, but relevant working experience can compensate.
• Proven track record from external recruitment business.
• Experience from energy industry could be an advantage but is not a prerequisite. 
• Fluency in Norwegian and English.
