Technical Support Engineer

We are now looking for a new colleague to join our technical support team.

Our team is responsible for supporting our range of handling equipment in Subsea & Special Purpose within the segments Seismic, Subsea, Oceanography.

In this role, you will use your strong knowledge in deck handling equipment and operations to contribute to support the handling systems on sailing fleet and in our workshops. We are looking for someone with high customer awareness and the ability to translate customer needs.

Key accountabilities

• Technical Support for vessels operating within our handling equipment portfolio.
• Remote support to our customers.
• Support service engineers with technical advice during service jobs and project commissioning .
• Spares identification and support.
• Contribute to developing the handling systems for the future.
• Participate and contribute to technical brief and debrief on commissioning and service jobs.
• Support our sales organization with technical solutions and offers for customers.
• Make work instructions and procedures.

Qualifications and experience

• Relevant technical education and/or experience within mechanics, hydraulics, and electro
• Practical experience from service is an advantage
• Good communication skills in English and Norwegian, both spoken and written
