Technical Project Lead

We are currently looking for Technical Project Lead to increase the technical coordination capacity in our Subsea & Special Purpose team. Our team develop, designs, deliver and maintain automated handling systems for deployment and recovery of manned and unmanned equipment and vehicles. The projects will vary from standalone winches to complex winch and handling solutions including aftermarket upgrade projects.

In this role you will use your strong technical knowledge to contribute to deliver the handling systems for the future. Our wide range of products and projects will give you possibilities to personal development as a member of a highly skilled team.

We are looking for you who are structured and possess a strong technical background.

Accountabilities

• Accountable for preparing engineering plan that comply with the contractual milestones together with Engineering Manager/Team Leads.
• Accountable for the engineering hour budget together with Engineering Manager/Team Leads.
• Accountable for reporting risk and opportunities for engineering discipline throughout the project.

Responsibility

Project resource with a system overview for all disciplines.

• Coordinate the technical disciplines within the project
• Improve communication between Project Management and Engineering.
• Improve the understanding of technical contractual documents in project.
• Ensure close coordination between engineering disciplines.
• Facilitate design freeze, safety consideration and design reviews.
• Ensure that the complete technical package is released.
• Formalize engineering impact on project changes like VOs, change of baseline with regards to budget and plan.

Qualifications and experience

• Technical education with higher professional degree or bachelor level, and / or relevant experience
• Experience in use of PLM Tools where Teamcenter is preferred.
• Good understanding of project requirements, flow through supply chain, manufacturing and service, and work experience from projects.
