Aker Solutions’ Life Cycle segment focuses on execution of modifications & maintenance that improve operations and extends life span of energy facilities on- and offshore. The segment is also responsible for electrification projects on existing facilities as well as offshore maintenance for the renewables sector.

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Stavanger is looking for a Senior Piping & Layout Designer who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing?

E3D Design/Spooling/Iso sjekking/ Jobbkort input.
Piping design engineer who can design piping systems in 3D model (PDMS/E3D) based on P&ID ( Process and instrument diagrams) according to Norsok standards.
It is important that the role holder can coordinate piping scope with other piping subjects within the piping discipline.
It is also important to have a good communication with other disciplines.

We think you should have some of the following:

Do you have MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience
Design of piping systems in 3D model (PDMS/E3D) based on P&ID ( Process and instrument diagrams) according to Norsok standards.
Experience from Oil & Gas industry from north sea projects.
Knowledge about critical hydrocarbon system oil/gas.
The role holder needs to have an understanding of piping stress calculations, piping support design, manual valves and job cards input.
The role requires collaboration with other disciplines such as process, Structure, mechanical, instrument, safety and material disciplines.
Available for work in Norway
Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
