Odfjell Oceanwind is looking for Senior Legal Counsel to help us reach our goal of being the world's leading provider of floating offshore wind technology.

Odfjell Oceanwind is a privately owned company located together with our sister companies Odfjell Drilling and Odfjell Technology. We combine 50 years of experience from operating in offshore harsh environments with 20 years of experience from floating offshore wind to create floating offshore wind solutions for the future.

Odfjell Oceanwind is perfectly placed to move into the next phase of operation as we just received a significant grant to our first demonstration project - GoliatVIND. Now that our first project is accelerating, Odfjell Oceanwind needs to strengthen its legal support capacity.

The Senior Legal Counsel will be a permanent position in a fast-moving and highly competent team, building the leading knowledge base for floating offshore wind turbines in harsh environments. This is a unique opportunity to become a pioneer at the forefront of this next generation technology.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide legal advice to the management in the business areas and support functions on all legal issues
• Be a resource person in tenders, procurements and contract negotiations, including risk assessment and improvement processes
• Maintain and further develop the group's legal competence with a view to ensure quality, competitiveness and customer satisfaction
• Contribute to ensuring that the group's activities are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Plan, establish and coordinate measures to strengthen and continuously improve the group's legal and contractual work
• Contribute to develop and define goals, strategies and action plans for the discipline in cooperation with the Management

• Cand. jur. / Master degree in law
• Minimum five years' experience from legal work, preferably related to the oil and gas, shipping and/or the renewable industry
• Excellent legal and contractual competence
• Fluent in English, both oral and written
• Resourceful, independent and ability to see the big picture and the important details
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills
• Accurate and systematic with high quality standards
• High level of personal integrity
• Efficient and flexible
