For a project in Dubai, we are looking for a Transport Lead

We are recruiting for redeployment project for the Baleine Field in Côte d’Ivoire. Altera Infrastructure has been selected by Eni and its partner Petroci for using the Voyageur Spirit on Baleine Field in Côte d’Ivoire. The Voyageur Spirit will undergo upgrade and life extension work in Dubai, to be ready for a firm operating period of 15 years on Baleine.
 

The Transport Lead will play a crucial role within the Altera Project Management Team, overseeing the transportation of FPSO Voyager Spirit and FSO Nordic Brasilia from Dubai Drydock to the Baleine field in West Africa. Responsibilities include scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and coordinating technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. Additionally, the role involves subcontracting and managing execution of transportation activities and serving as the primary interface with clients and subcontractors on transportation-related matters.

Job Description

• Ensure all activities adhere to laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and the Project Management Plan, with a focus on health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Interact with clients, interpret their needs, and represent them in transportation activities.

• Deliver transportation activities within budget and schedule.

• Lead and manage transportation resources effectively.

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor activities.

• Report status to the Project Manager and address any delays or material changes.

• Ensure necessary support is provided by Project and Operations teams for work preparation and execution.

• Perform quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance.

• Act as the focal point for various activities, including insurance interface, class support, and regulatory compliance.

• Interface with relevant authorities and stakeholders as required.

Qualification Requirements

• Hold a relevant technical education at bachelor level or higher.

• Possess 10+ years of experience in related international projects, particularly with FPSOs/FSOs.

• Demonstrated interdisciplinary knowledge and experience, with a strong foundation in at least one engineering discipline and significant contractual awareness.

• Ability to prioritize tasks independently and work strategically and systematically.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English for report writing, presentations, and effective communication with stakeholders.
