We are recruiting for redeployment project for the Baleine Field in Côte d’Ivoire. Altera Infrastructure has been selected by Eni and its partner Petroci for using the Voyageur Spirit on Baleine Field in Côte d’Ivoire. The Voyageur Spirit will undergo upgrade and life extension work in Dubai, to be ready for a firm operating period of 15 years on Baleine.

The Quantity Surveyor (Measurement and Surveying Engineer) will primarily support the Lead Quantity Surveyor in managing construction contract costs, including measurement reports, and quantities related to progress reporting from the Contractor JV yard construction work. The role aims to minimize construction costs and risks while ensuring accurate and timely reporting of quantities.

Job Description

Register and follow up on all documentation and drawings related to material takeoff and quantity surveying.
Attend site meetings, verify works carried out on-site, and prepare quantity take-off and re-measure quantities for all disciplines.
Prepare and update Site Instructions spreadsheet.
Monitor and verify yard re-measure quantities, estimates, variations, and on-site progress of work.
Collaborate with various departments including cost control, procurement, and planning to ensure project control and management activities are aligned.
Undertake Project Control Reporting duties as required.
Document relevant design changes and update budgets accordingly.
Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Relocation to the construction site in Dubai may be necessary.

Qualification Requirements

BSc/MSc in Engineering, Construction Science, or related field. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas sector on large EPC projects in a similar position.
Knowledge of project management and control within the offshore sector, including bottom-up estimating methodologies and multi-discipline understanding.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to present data on both high and detailed levels.
Team player with a commercial/contractual mindset and excellent communication skills.
