Exciting position as Senior Process Systems Engineer in international renewable company

Main purpose of position

Currently we are looking for a Senior Process Systems Engineer in Norway, Oslo to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Senior Process Systems Engineer you will develop and contribute significantly towards feasibility-, concept studies and pre-FEED phases of projects, the role shall specifically look at after projects in Egypt. You will be a key contributor in systems and process initiatives relating to the production of Methanol, Ammonia and Hydrogen facilities. Owning and reviewing BFDs and PFDs and other process related documentation, specifications, scopes of work and system designs. Also being highly involved in evaluating consultant and supplier offerings for technical compliance.

Main responsibilities 

• Establish the integrated system design along with the sizing of key processes.
• To support the development of projects through technical assessments/investigations, due diligence studies and designs by engaging the various business units and relevant stakeholders.
• Take ownership and responsibility to ensure all technical/contractual requirements are considered and implemented enabling the successful completion of the projects.
• Establish the integrated system design once the overall process sizing has been defined by the process engineering team.
• Responsibility for the technical aspects of Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia and E-methanol project feasibility and project development support.

Qualifications and competencies 

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering, ideally a master’s degree
• Good analytical skills
• Proficiency in English to a very good working level
• 8+ years of experience in a feasibility-, concept studies, front-end engineering. Preferably from reputable international engineering company
• Experience in the development and scoping of project requirements and scenarios during the feasibility and concept phase.
