BIOENVISION TECHNOLOGY AS is looking for a Technical Application Manager to promote and develop D-PYRE® flame retardant, and pursue BIOENVISION TECHNOLOGY AS’s goal of being a green and non-toxic player in the global flame retardant market

As Technical Application Manager in Bioenvision Technology AS, your main focus will be to combine R&D on our existing deep-tech POSS-solutions, in-depth business understanding and technological expertise to shape and sell flame retardant solutions to a global market. We target global customers in amongst other the automotive-, building materials-, electrical/electronic and adhesive segments.

You will analyse potential customers, understand their needs/challenges and with our technology provide them with the solutions who cover their needs/ challenges. You will also work with them to scope implementation and resolve/research on technical barriers before they commit to a long-term customer relationship.

You will work with a sales team consisting of experienced, dynamic colleagues, as well as participating in building up our global distribution team, who all share a common mindset; to deliver world-class, non-toxic, and sustainable solutions in a huge global sector and living out our motto Our goal is to see our customer succeed building sustainable and non-toxic solutions.

Main responsibility and tasks for the position:

Responsible for application development within defined areas
Responsible for development projects and testing of customer products/projects, including clear cut conclusions/reports
Responsible for building up and owning your own sales and customer portfolio
Responsible for promoting our solutions (attending in conferences/events), contribut to test processes, follow up on and respond to technical questions
Gaining a good overview of the market in total
Compare competitive products to specify the most advantageous solutions for customers

Qualifications and requirements

Chemical background and experience on a master level
Min. 5 years of relevant experience in R&D and Sales
Preferably good knowledge and experience in the global plastic industry and polymers
Experience and education in Organic Chemistry are an advantage.
Good skills in MS office software
Fluent in Norwegian and/or English
