Low code and Power Platform is an integral priority within the Digital Execution & Technology business units in Aker BP. The low code Center of Excellence is a dedicated enablement and support team that empowers citizen developers, ensures stable operations, maintains reliable governance, facilitates training, provides support for professional development initiatives and fosters cross-functional collaboration.


Typical work tasks can be:

  • Inspiring, guiding, and empowering a diverse team to collaboratively achieve goals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Driving adoption and promoting the opportunities and possibilities offered by low code and the Power Platform.
  • Bridging the gap between the needs of business units and low code technology by empowering citizen developers in identifying and delivering impactful use cases.
  • Securing responsibility for processes, methods, systems, and tools utilized within the low code and Power Platform environment.
  • Ensuring tight integration of low code development processes with broader application development processes.
  • Serving as an advisor for questions related to the low code & Power Platform.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive digital innovation.


Skills and qualifications:

  • A master's degree within a relevant field. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
  • Experience in coaching and developing teams and individuals.
  • The ability to formulate and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills with a structured approach.
  • Experience in refining best practices, processes, and methods, and implementing them effectively.
  • Hands-on experience in application development within a large enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of low code and Power Platform tools and components.
  • Fluent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbal and written.
