Senior Automation Engineer ready for a challenge?

We are seeking a dynamic Automation Senior Engineer to join our team in Haugesund! In this position, you will play a key role in various aspects of SAS system design and integration. 

Responsibilities include: 

The responsibilities for this position include designing and integrating SAS systems, participating in fire and gas safety reviews, and system design of process, utility, and electrical systems, encompassing interface, FS, SCD, and HMI input.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for following up on system design for equipment packages and electrical automation systems, developing solutions aligned with client requirements, and managing vendor relationships and technical documentation, which includes participating in test activities/FAT.

You'll also ensure timely communication of vendor and engineering information necessary for project progression, facilitate interface with other disciplines, suppliers, and clients, and complete engineering documents and data registers.
 

Qualification Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a Master's or bachelor's degree in automation or equivalent, coupled with a minimum of 8 years of experience in automation engineering for projects situated on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. In addition to academic credentials, key qualifications include excellent communication skills, a cooperative working attitude, a multidisciplinary understanding, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A systematic and accurate approach, along with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and quality requirements, is essential.

Required certifications encompass FSE including first aid and completion of the Basic EX course (22.5 hours in the classroom).
