On behalf of SLB (former Schlumberger) we are looking for a senior finance professional to join their growing team in Stavanger.

This position offers the chance to join the Finance team of the global leader in providing services and products to the energy industry. Job Responsibilities

Accounting, reporting, and consolidating financial results for a division or geography
Provide financial support to the Division Controller or Finance Manager and Management team by assessing business trends, developing root causes of business issues
Collaborate with team-members from operations and other functions to improve productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
Participate in corporate compliance programs and internal/external audits.
Financial planning, forecasting, and monitoring results vs objectives within specified intervals (monthly, quarterly, and yearly)
Optimise cash flow, by monitoring all elements of working capital and defining actions
Review and examine the financial impact of new and existing investment opportunities with a view to maximize the return on investment
Ensure compliance to policies and procedures and maintain integrity in our business actions and financial statements
Develop and evaluate business cases or project financial metrics and drivers

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field
5-10 years experience in Finance
Previous experience in a multinational firm will be an added advantage
Working knowledge of English and Norwegian is mandatory
