Vianode AS is owned by world-leading industrial and financial companies Hydro, and Altor. We aim to become a leading solutions provider to the fast-growing battery industry.

Our advanced anode graphite is a key component in the production of lithium-ion batteries and contributes to increased range for electric vehicles, faster charging, long life, and improved safety.

Our first industrial plant for the production of anode graphite is built in Norway, and the start of production is planned in 2024. The next phase large-scale plant is in the planning stage and aims to be in production in 2026.

Key responsibilities in the role

• Manage quality activities. Problem solving, establish quality routines, define procedures. There will be strong interaction with R&D, Technology and Operations Teams.
• Maintain Quality System for Pilot Plant.
• Perform and follow up intern audits.
• Handle internal & external quality deviations and provide reports.
• Contribute to 5S in the Pilot Plant.
• Support a fact-based culture for continuously productivity and quality improvement within Quality and Operations.

Required Qualifications

• Engineering Level Education. Preferred Master, minimum Bachelor.
• Production industry, preferably linked to Automotive and/or Battery production.
• Automotive Quality Tools (Problem Solving, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA), failure analysis, Quality Systems.
• ISO 9001, IATF 16949.

• Systematic and evidence based approach. Mindset on Quality and Lean Manufacturing, focused on details.
• Able to find solutions to complex technical problems.
• Inquisitive nature and motivated by problem solving in order to find innovative solutions to complex process and technology challenges.
• Enjoy working in a high pace environment and be able to deliver high quality work within a tight time schedule.
• Self-driven and a good team player.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of personnel within and outside the company, in an international setting.
• Effective presentation, oral and written communication skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Norwegian.
• Strong interest in EV/battery/ battery materials/Automotive industry.

Location: This position is based in our Industrial Pilot Plant in Kristiansand and reports to the Quality Manage
