We now have an exciting opportunity for someone to take a leading role as an IT & Business Intelligence Architect at The Club. The successful candidate will ensure that we have an IT and BI platform that meets today’s requirements for security while still making data accessible in a user-friendly way. They will also use their knowledge, experience and curious mindset to stay fully aware of potential future needs when it comes to such requirements.In this way, the IT & Business Intelligence Architect will play a significant part in ensuring that others will be best enabled to make informed decisions that could have a major impact.

What you’ll do 

We’re after someone to join our IT & Business Intelligence team who will strengthen both the department and our business overall by:

• Designing and documenting BI/Data Warehouse architecture;
• Designing IT architecture, including IT security and network;
• Implementing the designed architecture; 
• Automating manual routines;
• Performing technical tasks related to BI/Data Warehouse;
• Performing IT operations tasks. 

As a part of a dedicated, specialised team of four individuals with different roles in IT and Business Intelligence, you’ll have significant responsibilities and make an impact in regard to our IT, BI and Datawarehouse platform. In addition to your core tasks, you’ll engage with internal users and external stakeholders at all levels.

Qualities and skills 

We’re after someone who has: 

• At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field;
• Preferly with experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, IT operations or DevOps;
• Experience as a Data Warehouse or IT Security architect will also be looked upon favourably;
• A strong interest in IT technology and is eager to learn new technologies;
• Excellent English and Norwegian communication skills, both written and oral.

This position is based at our Bergen office, situated at Skipet in Solheimsviken.
