Warehouse Coordinator

Vestas are a world leading, renewable energy company that develop, build, install and maintain wind turbines all over the globe. We are currently recruiting for a full-time Warehouse Coordinator/Operator to work at our Area Warehouse in Heimdal, near Trondheim. If you are an experienced Warehouse Operator with a proactive mindset and a structured working approach, this could be the ideal opportunity for you!

As a Vestas Warehouse Coordinator, you'll be part of the growing push towards a greener future. As a central part of the Norwegian main warehouse, you'll be responsible for sending out parts to cover the 29 Wind parks in Norway that facilitate almost 600 wind turbines. The job gives you ample room for growth and a personal ability to improve your own working conditions in the young warehouse. You'll be part of a small passionate team in a small warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Working safely and ensuring a safe working environment for others
• Receive, process and put-away all inbound shipments + Order Pick, Pack and Ship
• Update and maintain the integrity of the SAP MRP Stock Control System
• Booking transport collections 
• Raising Dangerous Goods Notes for the Transportation of COSHH materials
• Periodic Cycle Counting, annual Stocktaking and Waste Management activities

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing
• Certificate of Reach and/or Counterbalance Forklift competency
• IT Literate, email, Word & Excel
• Fluent English, written and speaking

Useful experience, but can be trained:

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Working Knowledge of handling Dangerous Goods 
• Health & Safety accreditation, such as IOSH

Additional information

Your primary work location will be Trondheim, Norway. You should expect some travel activity, up 10 days per year.
