Senior Engineer - Pipe Stress

Planned start date: 03/06/2024
Planned end date: 01/12/2026
Work location: Stavanger

Job Responsibilities:

Perform Pipe Stress Analysis work in Pre-Engineering and Detail Engineering

Required Education:

Minimum Bachelor engineering degree

Required Work Experience:

15 years of experience, within offshore modification work in Norway
Extensive experience from Pipe Stress Analysis preferably from Offshore Oil and Gas Installations
Detailed knowledge of Piping and Pipe Supports, both design and calculations
Ceasar 2 knowledge
Triflex knowledge
Knowledge about Structural calculations
Detailed knowledge of ASME B31.3, PED and EN-13480
Detailed knowledge of Piping specifications and materials
Stress ISO knowledge
Offshore survey
Experience with 3rd party verification
Knowledge of Ptil requirements and Norsok standards
API 6A
TCD Documentation
(Drilling operation experience, design of flowlines)

Required Qualifications:

Good communtication skills
Experience and ability to work safely and efficiently
Confident in discipline knowledge, ability to challenge/criticise client
High degree of self learning skills is desirable
Springhanger calculations
Hand calculations

Preferable qualifications:

Nozzle Calculations
