We're 22,000 colleagues in more than 30 countries delivering oil, gas, wind and solar power to 170 million people worldwide. Taking on tough energy challenges is our job. Right now, we're facing an enormous task: supplying the world with the energy it needs, while lowering emissions.

We're up for the challenge. Are you?

The position

By joining our team in Projects, Drilling & Procurement you will have the opportunity to:
Take on a key role within the onshore support team for offshore installations. You will act as a key contact between the procurement and supply chain function, and the wider support network, and you'll manage, maintain and optimise an inventory of materials in collaboration with a local purchaser to ensure an available supply of equipment to our operations in the North Sea.

In this role you will:

  • Be part of a significant supply chain organization where you will have operational responsibility in a local team, direct contact with our operations and contribute to safe and secure supply chain operations.
  • Hold a highly diverse supply chain position within material management, inventory management and procurement. You'll secure the supply chain flow and up-time in our operations by close collaboration with both the on- and offshore teams.
  • Optimise inventory to the correct level and cost through performing material requirement planning and analysis.
  • Work with the operation group securing maintenance plans.
  • Contribute to value-adding procurement and advising operations within this area.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to secure the delivery of material and services in any critical situation.
  • Deliver training to the operations group you are seated with on the procurement and supply chain process.

You

Some qualities are essential for Equinor. You identify with our values, open, collaborative, courageous and caring, which guide our decisions and help us succeed and grow. You make safety your priority and contribute to our zero-harm culture. For this position, we are also looking for:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, procurement, economics or other related fields.
  • Digital skills with SAP or Office 365, and an interest in using these tools to improve the way we work.
  • You may have previous experience of inventory management, purchasing, plan to pay, material management or other related supply chain disciplines.
  • Great customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to speak and write in both Norwegian and English.
  • You'll have a keen interest in supply chain and procurement.
