Product Expert, - Passage Planning / E-navigation

At our headquarters in Egersund we are seeking a Product Expert, to join our committed Product Team.

As a Product Expert, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, collaborating closely with the Product Manager to ensure the seamless functioning of our product lifecycle. Your responsibilities will extend to maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the product's status, addressing critical issues, and managing customer complaints in adherence to NAVTOR and Business standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Communication with stakeholders, including customers, executives, and internal teams, to ensure alignment.
• Support Technical writer in writing release notes, webinars and other documentation
• Conducting market research to identify customer needs and preferences.
• Defining product positioning and messaging to differentiate the product in the market.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute on product plans.
• Support for Customer Service and Technical Support, in case questions related to product.

Requirements

• A strong nautical background from the maritime industry
• Strong Commercial instinct
• Fluent in English, oral and writing
• Thorough understanding of product managementis desirable but not required
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information and specifications to adequate stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
