To meet the growing demand for our CapsolGo® carbon capture demonstration units, we are seeking a Commissioning and Operations Engineer with a focus on commissioning and operation. Preferably, the applicant has experience in commissioning power plants / industrial facilities and would enjoy taking a great deal of responsibility for the execution of our CapsolGo® demonstration campaigns.

The position requires international travel most of the time.

Your tasks include:

• Execute commissioning and operation activities at our CapsolGo® carbon capture demonstration units - from delivery to site to completion of demonstration campaigns.
• Perform on-site sampling of chemical solutions on a daily or weekly basis during the test campaigns.
• Represent Capsol Technologies and be the client’s main point of contact during the demonstration campaigns.
• Contribute to the development of commissioning and operational procedures/manuals for our full-scale plants.
• Multiply your knowledge and on-site experience into the organisation, to support the development of new patents and processes.
• Take an active role in HAZOP, risk assessments, and operational planning for each demonstration campaign.
• Be an important contributor to the company culture and social environment.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years relevant working experience in one or more of the following fields: Chemical Engineering,
• Commissioning of power plants /industrial facilities, Commissioning of gas processing units, (Chemical)
• Process engineering, I&C Commissioning, Electrical Commissioning.
• Detailed knowledge and experience in commissioning and operation of plants, ideally complemented with profound understanding of mechanical, electrical, and chemical processes.
• Preferably already based in the Nordics, although a relocation offer may be considered for the right candidates.

We are looking for someone who possesses strong self-drive and self-motivation, combined with the capability to work across disciplines. You should demonstrate a very good technical understanding and confidence in engaging with customers. Additionally, you should thrive as a team player and enjoy social interactions. Fluently in English, both in communication and writing, while fluency in other languages is considered advantageous. Moreover, flexibility for extensive travel is required.
