Aker Solutions’ Life Cycle segment focuses on execution of modifications & maintenance that improve operations and extends life span of energy facilities on- and offshore. The segment is also responsible for electrification projects on existing facilities as well as offshore maintenance for the renewables sector.

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Sandnessjøen is looking for a Study/Task Lead who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing?

Manage a multi discipline team to deliver a safe, high quality, cost and schedule effective execution of assigned tasks/projects
Be responsible for a several projects, and will be working close to the asset operation teams
The role holder can have tasks/projects assigned on more than one Asset
As Task Lead you can also be nominated to run both studies and execution phase projects
This position is located onshore in Sandnessjøen but some offshore, fabrication and supplier/vendor site work may be required

We think you should have some of the following:

Msc, Bsc, Technical College, or other relevant education
Minimum 2 years' experience as Engineering Discipline Lead or Project Engineer, or minimum 5 years of experience as Discipline Task Responsible
Experience from relevant topside modification projects with successful performance/delivery
Offshore Course: Valid offshore certificate
Ability to work in Sandnessjøen full-time during the assignment
Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English
