In this role, you will be part of an enquiring and committed Reliability and Maintenance team in the Operations department. Our team is responsible for the overall reliability and maintenance objectives, governing principles, work processes and improvements to ensure safe, reliable, compliant and efficient operation across the Aker BP assets.
The role is functionally organized within the M&I department and reports to the Manager of Reliability and Condition Based Maintenance, but task-wise, the role will be seated within the Skarv organization and report to the Asset Production Manager.
Typical work tasks can be:
- Drive systematical defect elimination of production losses and equipment failures.
- Lead, coordinate or quality check root cause analysis (5Whys or RCA).
- Identify equipment with low reliability performance or/and high maintenance cost.
- Establish improvement plan and share learning across assets.
- Contribute to implementation of Reliability Centered Maintenance in Maintenance and Test Concepts (MTCs).
- Perform and contribute to reliability analysis according to Aker BP practices.
- Actively contribute to the Reliability Engineer network.
- Have the drive to deliver on an "always improving" mindset, including new working methods and digital tools.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher education within a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a technical field/discipline.
- Experience within Reliability and Maintenance, Process, Production or onshore / offshore operation or maintenance.
- Fluent/good abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.

Locations: Oslo, Stavanger, Trondheim and Sandessjøen. Please specify your preferred location in your application.
Some travel to Stavanger must be expected.
