Aker Solutions’ Life Cycle segment focuses on execution of modifications & maintenance that improve operations and extends life span of energy facilities on- and offshore. The segment is also responsible for electrification projects on existing facilities as well as offshore maintenance for the renewables sector.

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Stavanger is looking for a Piping Design Engineer -checker who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing?

The overall performance of engineering discipline activities as Piping Design Engineer -checker and deliverables in the assigned scope, here under:
Piping Design Engineer -checker isometrics (E3D/Navis works).
Detail knowledge of P&ID's, PFD's and Piping design.
Co-ordination with internal and external customers.
As-built and LCI deliverables.

We think you should have some of the following:

Do you have Msc, Bsc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience
Good knowledge of E3D/Navis works.
Detail knowledge of Norsok and international design codes/standard for offshore industry.
Good communication skill and Team player.
Able to co-ordinate with design team and contribute/ add-value in multi discipline design activities.
Available for work in Norway
Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
