We are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large EPC greenfield oil & gas project

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large EPC greenfield oil & gas project. The right candidate will join a major new build project and will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within engineering of Automation systems, working in the SAS package team on an unmanned process platform.

Tasks include:

• System Design, interface and follow up of Safety and Automation System as appointed by SAS team lead
• Review of SAS technical package documentation
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers
• Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and client.
• Follow-up and participation in Hardware and Software tests at different supplier's site. Travel to be expected

Required Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree

Required Work Experience:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects
• Minimum 6 years’ Experience from automation and SAS system design, SAS system responsibility, SAS/automation network solutions and PRE responsibility from green field projects
• Experience and deep knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC

Required Qualifications:

• Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English - Both orally and in writing
• Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in team
• Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others

Required Certificates:

• Valid FSE-course
• Valid Ex-course
