Helly Hansen is looking for a Financial Group Controller
The Group Controller will be responsible for Helly Hansen IFRS and NGAAP accounting policies. The Group Controller will be responsible for the Financial Risk Management for the Global Treasury Function. The position will report to the VP Finance.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Responsible for the HH Accounting Policies and Procedures – IFRS and NGAAP
- Responsible for the Helly Hansen Financial Risk Management
- Responsible for hedge accounting and other accounting issues related to financial instruments, foreign exchange, liquidity and cash.
- Detailed understanding of and responsible for supporting documentation to owners for the HH Hedge Program
- Detailed understanding of the internal control environment for Financial Reporting and Financial Risk Management
- Assist in consolidation and month end closing of HH Group
- Participation in cross border projects related to treasury, finance, accounting and tax
We are looking for
- A bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance or Economics
- Minimum 7 -10 years of relevant experience from auditing and/or Group accounting and/or Treasury
- Strong and sound technical accounting knowledge in IFRS and international practices, including hedge accounting
- Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt instruments

- Good team player
- Accurate with attention to detail and thrives in a hectic working environment
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
