KSAT is seeking a Director for Oil Spill Services

We are seeking a motivated individual to lead our team as the Director of Oil Spill Services. In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our Earth Observation product portfolio. Your innovative thinking and management skills will be instrumental in leading a cross-functional product team responsible for driving the development of our world leading oil spill services to the next level.

As the Director Oil Spill Services your key responsibilities will be to

Lead a Cross-Functional Team:

• Lead a dynamic cross-functional team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a strong sense of team spirit.
• Cultivate a team culture that values diversity, excellence, and a shared commitment to environmental sustainability.

Balance Current Contracts and Future Development:

• Spearhead the development and implementation of a state-of-the-art oil spill detection service to maintain our competitive edge and long-term profitability.
• Leverage cutting-edge technologies, data analytics, and machine learning to enhance the speed and accuracy of oil spill detection.
• Strategically manage the existing portfolio of oil spill services, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding client expectations.

Strategic Leadership:

• Drive the strategic vision for the Oil Spill Services department, aligning with overall company objectives.
• Implement effective strategies for sustainable growth, ensuring the product remains a key contributor to our financial success.
• Utilize market insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement in our oil spill services.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including commercial entities, government agencies, and industry partners.
• Develop and nurture relationships that enhance our position as a trusted leader in oil spill detection and remediation.

Financial Management:

• Manage the financial health of the Oil Spill Services department, maximizing profitability while maintaining a commitment to environmental responsibility.
• Ensuring sustainable revenue growth and cost-effectiveness when designing the services.

Qualifications and Interests

• Interest or experience with leading and forming great teams.
• Interest or experience with product development and project management.
• Interest or experience in customer experience and customer satisfaction improvement programs.
• Experience with managing teams or project management for medium to large projects will be positive.
• Interest or experience with continuous improvement and lean strategy is a plus.
• Experience & knowledge about the oil industry is positive.
• Effective verbal and non-verbal communication, and agility to communicate with leaders, technical staff, and experts both internally at KSAT and with customers, suppliers, and partners.
