This position is a part of Supply Chain Operations, Logistics & Subsea. We support the business in sourcing, contract management and procurement of material and services for daily operations.


In this position we are looking for a Contracts & Category Professional to work close with a wide range of internal stakeholders and our suppliers in a designated portfolio. You will be responsible for elaborating strategies, sourcing, negotiations and contract management. Joining our team, you will be part of a professionally strong, diverse and including team collaborating to ensure safe and reliable operations.


Typical work tasks can be:

  • Demand analysis and planning of operations demand across all assets
  • Monitor and analyse supplier markets
  • Execute procurement strategies, manage and lead sourcing processes, plan and lead negotiations, evaluate and prepare recommendation of award and final contracting.
  • Manage mechanical contract portfolio to meet the long-range plan
  • Develop, implement and facilitate effective Supplier Management relationships and processes together with the Contract Accountable Manager to drive performance, focusing on HSE, quality, productivity, and One Team


Skills and qualifications:

  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • You have a Bachelors or Master's degree within a relevant field. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
  • Experience from commercial settings and business-to-business interactions will be advantageous.
  • Willingness and interested in learning about the industry and work with digital and data driven processes. The successful applicant will be given the necessary training to succeed.
  • Fluent/good abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
