The Role

In this role, you’ll play a lead role in developing, implementing, and optimizing the social media marketing strategy that drives revenue growth for Helly Hansen. You’ll focus on using paid social media channels to drive customer acquisition growth and helping to grow the Helly Hansen brand.

You’ll work with key internal and external partners to build capability in our social platforms and create compelling social first creative that drives performance across key metrics including click through rate (C2R) conversion rate, cost per acquisition and ROAS.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Helly Hansen's global paid social media strategy
  • Drive revenue growth through developing and executing implement paid social media campaigns across different platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok
  • Monitor campaign performance against key metrics CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS and ROI
  • Optimise campaign performance through AB testing audience segmentation and creative
  • Provide campaign reporting updating on performance, optimisations and growth opportunities
  • Partner with Digital Content lead, content team and creative agencies to develop best in class social first creative
  • Partner with the Organic Social Media manager to unify paid and organic strategy
  • Build relationships with social media platforms to identify new opportunities and define best in class practices
  • Support management of the social media agency and third-party platforms for social monitoring and publishing (Smartly, Falcon, Meltwater, Sprout etc.)

Reports to: Senior Manager, Performance Marketing Europe

Location: Oslo, Norway

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3+ in a paid performance social media role
  • Results driven, able to demonstrate being having driven profitable growth through use of social media
  • In depth knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and & TikTok
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to review and analyse customer and campaign performance data
  • A team player who can guide and collaborate with different teams across different disciplines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to think strategically, while also executing day-to-day responsibilities
  • Ability to manage agency partners
  • A passion for the outdoors and outdoor sports would be a plus.
