The position

• Participate in the important process of bringing Equinor into the AI age in a safe, secure and transparent manner.
• Be a part of a dynamic team where you will have high influence on the task directions and in the final solutions.  
• Work in cross-disciplinary teams and communicate with different business areas across the company.  
• Attend internal and external events, such as workshops and conferences, related to latest developments in AI and AI governance. 
• Work on a highly prioritized domain and build competence within responsible AI and AI governance.  

You

• Master’s in Computer Science, or related technical field. Relevant working experience may compensate for lack of education.
• Experience in working closely with stakeholders, managing and responding to stakeholder enquiries, explaining the external risk posed by corporate governance. 
• Experience in designing and implementing a risk management process.
• Ability to grasp international standards on AI and bring them towards practical guidelines.  
• Experience in working on implementation and governance of emerging technologies.  
• Ability to share our vision that safe implementation of AI is an imperative in changing the way we work and accelerate change.
• A person who enjoys working in a dynamic team and is able to actively contribute to the team in order to complete tasks, meet goals and manage deliveries.  
• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible or human-centered AI, upcoming laws on AI (EU AI Act) is an asset. 
• Fluency in English, both written and oral.
