Document Controller

IKM Flux AS, is a reliable supplier and service provider of umbilicals, valves, hoses and connectors for power and fluid management applications. In addition, Flux supplies complete solutions for oil and gas analysis and measurement as well as laboratory solutions. The company has approx. 61 highly qualified employees and are located in Stavanger, Bergen and Porsgrunn. Flux AS had a turnover of approx. NOK 395 million in 2022.

We are looking for a Document Controller to strengthen our Project & DCC team. 

The department has a high workload and we are looking for more skilled employees for our team. You must thrive with a high working pace and varied tasks.

We will interview candidates continuously and we are also recruiting for a Project Manager within the same team. 

The position will be part of a team with highly qualified project managers and document controllers and with good development opportunities in the position.

Tasks:

• Responsible for all activities related to document control in projects 
• Prepare technical documentation, document packages and carry out quality assurance  
• Contribute to develop and improve our document management system and procedures 
• Coordination and execution of document and data requests, status, searches, and queries as requested from both internal and external customers  
• Active participation in relevant project meetings like; project kickoff, internal and external status updates 
• Give necessary in-house training in document control and document control systems 
• Prepare/quality control of document packages and quality assure certificates 
• Perform all work in a competent, flexible and trustworthy manner 
• Always work in accordance with Flux Code of Conduct and Flux authority matrix 
• Proactively seek best practise work methodology and continuous improvement 
• Complete NCR procedures   

Qualifications:

• Relevant education and/or professional certificate (long experience can compensate for lack of education)
• Good oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English
• Sound computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
