About the Opportunity:
Our customer, a leader in the electrification sector with a focus on designing and fabricating premier cable systems, is on a mission to electrify the future. Specializing in EPCI turnkey projects across the globe, they utilize top-tier tools, equipment, and a team endowed with the competence and skillset required for installing and servicing these systems.

Your New Team:
You will be joining a team based in Norway, consisting of 35 highly skilled and diverse members. Thanks to the team's unique engineering capabilities, they adeptly handle marine and land cable installation projects worldwide, overcoming any environmental or client constraints. You will be working out of Oslo, reporting directly to the Discipline Manager of Survey & Protection. As the team expands, we are on the lookout for a new member to bring fresh perspectives and expertise.

Your Role and Impact:
As a Senior Engineer in Survey, you will be a crucial technical contributor to marine protection scopes of work. Your responsibilities will include reviewing project contracts, analyzing survey-related activities, ensuring high-level engineering work by reviewing and developing project documents/drawings, and verifying that all survey requirements are met and aligned with contracts/client expectations. Additionally, you will contribute to developing efficiencies and technical advancements within the department, promoting quality and HSE standards.

Who You Are:

• A holder of a BSc or MSc in Surveying or Geoscience, or equivalent experience.
• Possessing at least 5 years of relevant experience; extensive experience in similar roles may compensate for formal education.
• A problem-solver with the ability to think creatively and work independently.
• Thriving in fast-paced environments, capable of working efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
• Self-driven, with excellent team collaboration skills and a strong sense of ownership over your tasks.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
