Key Responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager:

• Spearheading the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, ensuring they meet established goals, deadlines, and budgetary constraints.
• Fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project progression and the alignment of technological solutions with business objectives.
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.
• Implementing and maintaining project management best practices to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
• Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and manage project scope changes effectively.
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to anticipate and address potential project hurdles.
• Championing the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to drive innovation within the company.
• Compiling and maintaining project documentation, including plans, reports, and stakeholder communications, to ensure transparency and accountability.

What We Are Looking For:

Our ideal Technical Project Manager is someone who not only excels in managing complex technology projects but also embodies a leadership spirit that can inspire and galvanize a team. You will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with substantial project management experience.
• A proven track record of successfully managing technology projects from inception to completion.
• Strong familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts in understandable terms to diverse audiences.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
• Experience in stakeholder management, adept at negotiating and managing expectations.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on quality.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with exceptional report writing skills.
• The role is based in Porsgrunn, Norway. Fluency in Norwegian/Scandinavian is a significant advantage, since several of our projects are in cooperation with Norwegian customers.

Your role will be in the R&D department and reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer. The Technical Project Manager will be instrumental in driving our innovative projects to successful outcomes, contributing significantly to our company’s technological advancements and strategic goals.
