We now are seeking a dynamic colleague with a track record in procurement to coordinate procurement and contracting activities for these projects.

Main responsibilities

At project level, you will:

• Establish procurement and contract strategies.
• Perform market assessments.
• Manage the procurement process: prepare prequalification and request for proposal documents, evaluate, negotiate, award, and follow up on contracts.
• Coordinate efforts with stakeholders: engineering, legal, insurance, finance, HSE, compliance.
• Support and advise project teams and the organization.

At portfolio/corporate level, you will:

• Drive development and improvement of the procurement process: procedures, best practice documents, methods, and tools.
• Implement in SAP, coordinating with stakeholders such as finance, Hydro corporate, etc.
• Establish strategies, market assessments, and advise investment decisions for projects.
• Ensure compliance with governance criteria throughout the supply chain (sustainability, integrity, etc.)
• Maintain IT tools and system administration.

You have excellent analytical and demonstrated negotiation skills, a strategic mindset and good relationship building skills, both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

• University degree in relevant discipline area, e.g. Engineering, Law.
• Around five years' experience from renewable energy, infrastructure, or large investment projects in a similar procurement, supply chain and/or contracts management position
• Knowledge of and experience with contract standards from construction/industrial projects.
• Experience with systems and digital development.
• Fluent in English is required. A Scandinavian language or German is an added advantage.

You will report to the Head of Procurement. The position is based in Oslo, Norway.
