As our PURCHASING MANAGER, you will play a key role in the development, implementation and improvement of the company's purchasing processes. You will work closely with other departments and vessels to ensure that all procurement processes are carried out in accordance with current standards and requirements.
In the role, it will be important to have good communication and negotiations skills, as well as a thorough understanding of the operation of ships and processes necessary to make procurement processes run smoothly.
The position reports to the VP Technical Operations.

Key areas of responsibility:
• Manage the establishment of Edda Wind’s purchasing department
• Support the management in tasks and matters related to purchasing processes
• Continuous improvement of our management system with a focus on purchasing processes
• Identify trends and propose improvements through the establishment of framework agreements with major suppliers and follow-up the agreements
• Advisor in connection with tender processes
• Ensure efficient and sustainable logistics
• Lead projects related to cost reduction, risk and quality

Qualifications:
• Knowledge of and experience with procurement processes, relevant standards and regulations
• Experience with the development and implementation of procurement processes
• Experience with tender processes, negotiation of framework agreements
• Experience from the maritime industry is desirable
• Relevant education at bachelor's or master's level, experience can possibly compensate for a lack of higher education

• Solution-oriented and able to collaborate effectively across the teams and departments
