Job Description

• Perform study work and estimation.

• Produce new documentation and drawings, including telecom block diagrams, loop diagrams, and plot plans.

• Revise existing documentation and drawings.

• Produce work packages for installation.

• Discipline check and approve produced documents and drawings in the project.

• Order all telecom materials (bulk/equipment) needed for offshore installation.

• Demonstrate knowledge of general interfaces to instrumentation/electrical/automation.

• Understand drawings from different disciplines.

• Engage in discussions with client and vendor representatives to find optimal technical solutions.

Qualification Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of experience within offshore-related projects and studies.

• Masters or bachelor's degree in telecommunications.

• Knowledge of relevant standards such as NPD, ATEX, IEC61892, and Norsok.

• Knowledge of modifications on offshore installations when in operation.

• Familiarity with telecommunication systems, including cables, fibers, LAN, WAN, TMS, etc.

• Understanding of PA systems, emergency battery systems, and CCTV systems.

• Proficiency in ICT security and network topology.

• Familiarity with instrument and electrical equipment used in the oil industry.

• Experience with systems like proark and PIMS.

Required Certificates:

• Valid Norwegian offshore and health certificates.

• Grunnleggende EX kurs.

• FSE Kurs.
