Do you want to work with communication strategy for the renewables industry?

As our new Marketing and Communication Manager you will develop and implement a robust communication strategy for Fred. Olsen Renewables’ Norwegian onshore wind and solar projects.   

Working alongside the Fred. Olsen Renewables Norwegian team, you will support our engagement with communities and stakeholders throughout all stages of the development process - from project initiation through to construction and operation. 

Your focus will be on protecting and enhancing the reputation of Fred. Olsen Renewables in Norway, and developing content and marketing materials to support and promote our activity.   

You will work with your counterparts in the other Fred. Olsen Renewables markets and the Bonheur marketing and communications team to manage the Fred. Olsen Renewables brand and assets.   

As Marketing and Communications Manager at Fred. Olsen Renewables you will report to the Head of Development. The position will be based in Oslo, Norway, with travel as required to support events and business activities. 

Main work tasks will be:

• Manage the delivery of corporate branding and marketing activities across multiple platforms
• Manage and develop the company website as well as Norwegian project websites   
• Establish a Fred. Olsen Renewables communication strategy for Norway, and project specific strategies
• Work alongside the project managers to establish and manage positive stakeholder relationships in local communities surrounding existing and forthcoming wind farm projects 
• Manage external and internal communication, and act as a day-to-day media contact 
• Identify and promote projects, activities and events on behalf of Fred. Olsen Renewables in Norway, and other markets 

Qualifications we look for:

• Minimum 3 years of experience within communication, marketing, stakeholder management, preferably from a multi-stakeholder environment  
• A track record of devising and implementing communication strategies  
• Experience in facilitating and driving cross-functional and cross-market collaboration combined with strong program management skills 
• Strong communication and writing skills in Norwegian and English are essential for this role 
• Knowledge of the onshore wind industry is considered an advantage
